I spent today in a room full of brilliant women and it was honestly such a fun, explorative and engaging session. Hosted by Louise Mcguill 🪄 and Emily McGuirk, the focus was on how we show up in our businesses, online and in real life, and how we talk about what we do without feeling salesy, awkward, or giving ourselves the ick! I couldn’t recommend working with them more. We were encouraged to play with language, to experiment, to say things out loud, write them down, cross them out, rewrite them, and slowly find the words that actually feel natural and true. Not the polished marketing version. Not the LinkedIn buzzword soup. Just the honest, human way of talking about your work. It was challenging in the best way. You could feel how much everyone in the room valued the space that Louise and Emily created.

Emily, before my talk last night (fist big one of the year) all of the wonderful things you’d taught us in your workshop came flooding back to me. I felt the fizz of nervous energy just before going on stage so took myself away did my vocal warmups, my running man, my power poses, shook out all of the nervous energy and centred myself. And I found it such a lovely grounding thing to do a few minutes ahead of going on stage, and it made ALL the difference to my delivery. Thankyou for being there with me in spirit - I found it so useful ✨🫶
