A very warm welcome to Small Steps Big Vision.
Creating a culture where all young women can live a fulfilled life without limitations through unapologetically impactful workshops
Small Steps Big Vision empowers young women to live fulfilled lives without limitations.
We provide workshops and resources that transform the way young women think about themselves, their relationships and their futures.
Through clear strategies and tools, we empower them to get to know who they are, believe in their own potential and feel confident in their own skin.
Every student will leave our workshops knowing that they can love themselves and that their voice matters.
The habits we learn as children are most often taken into adulthood.
Having worked with thousands of young women, the same themes come up; lack of self worth, lack of confidence and endless comparison.
I am sure we can all agree that social media has played it's part in this cycle of not feeling enough.

Having worked with thousands of young women, the same themes come up; lack of self worth, lack of confidence and endless comparison.
I am sure we can all agree that social media has played it's part in this cycle of not feeling enough.
I believe if we help young women become aware of the things that are holding them back and give them strategies to like who they are, know that their voice matters and champion them to say YES to opportunities, the opinions or actions of others will become far less impactful.
When we like who we are and the life we are creating, comparison no longer becomes the default.

I’m an actress, a teacher, Founder of Small Steps Big Vision, a wife, and a mother to 2 incredible humans.
I help people discover what is holding them back from who they desire to be, and provide them with a skillset for success in all areas of their lives.
My belief is that everyone deserves to live a joyful and fulfilled life without limitations.
So how did I go from a classical actress to speaking at live events to 3000 entrepreneurs on mindset and accomplishment through adversity? Good question!
I’ve always loved people and listening to their stories. I guess this is why I trained to be an actress.
After a pretty exciting acting career, I knew that there was more I wanted to explore. I wanted to inspire and encourage the next generation of performers. So, I retrained to be a secondary school teacher of Drama.
I had a varied and fun, all be it challenging teaching career, yet that all came to a stop when I became pregnant and my husband’s job moved to Italy.
Side note: in that time, I was also part of a number 1 selling single and album – bonkers!
This all sounds super exciting. And it was!
But when we moved to Italy, I couldn't teach out there, so all of a sudden, I lost purpose, I didn't know what I was supposed to do, and I began to lose all sense of worth. When somebody asked me to tell them about myself, my default setting was to explain the career path I had chosen. And now that no longer existed for me, with no clear direction of where I was going, I felt lost.
After some very challenging personal events, I found myself in hospital with a panic attack and severe anxiety.
I felt worthless, and had no confidence.
But being pregnant at the time, I was determined to get better before my son was born, and that was where my personal development journey began.
For some reason, I decided to say yes to a business opportunity, in the health and wellness industry. I didn't know where to start. I didn't know what I was doing. On paper, this didn’t look like a great idea.
However, it turned out to be a huge turning point for my mental health and my career. I was surrounded by empowered, positive, kind, generous men and women with a breadth of knowledge and understanding of both personal growth and business growth.
So, I basically decided to stick to them like glue.
When they told me to read a book - I read the book.
When they recommended an audio - I listened to the audio. I did whatever I could to learn and follow in their footsteps.
Up until this point, I had never read a personal development book. I didn't understand what the term meant. But this one new habit changed the course of my life forever.
This led to me coaching others within the business, both in-person and online. I was later invited to share my success journey at several large events in the UK, culminating in the 3000 capacity arena at the Birmingham NEC. This was one of the proudest moments in my life.
And this was where the passion began, to develop, Small Steps Big Vision. The teacher in me questioned why personal confidence, wellness and resilience were not explicitly taught in schools.
I don't want any young woman to feel worthless or irrelevant like I did. I want them to know that their voice matters.
When I was awarded Heropreneur Of The Year for the impact I was making, I was so proud of the girl I was, for not giving up on myself when I found myself in hospital.
I am eternally grateful for all that I have learned along the way through entrepreneurship in terms of developing a positive mindset, techniques to start your day successfully, leadership, resilience, knowing when to spot opportunities and having the courage to say “yes” to them.
I feel it is my duty to pass this information on. To allow everyone the same opportunity for growth, that I have been lucky enough to experience.
The skills, techniques and tasks that I will share with you, I still practice to this day.
It's all about the small, simple, seemingly insignificant steps that we can take on a daily basis that take us closer to our potential, to the big vision of our future self.
Everything is possible, and I am proof of that.
I can't wait to work with you,
Have a fabulous day,
Emily
Emma joined Small Steps Big Vision in 2022 to help deliver the No Label No Limit program, consisting of 150 workshops throughout Devon.
We could not have wished for a more perfect fit.
Emma is a professional Dancer, Model and Actress working nationally on various advertising campaigns. In addition, like Emily, Emma works closely with a variety of secondary schools in Devon and is always highlighted as being a ray of light in any room.
Emma was drawn to Small Steps Big Vision due to her own experience of self doubt and comparison at both theatre school and in auditions. She wished she had known the techniques we share with the young women we work with, when she was at school.
Emma establishes positive relationships quickly and makes each workshop fun, impactful and relevant.
"ALL girls need to know this stuff! If I was to describe these workshop I would say they were fun, encouraging, relevant to me and made me feel empowered"
“Emily is able to share her passion for teaching and personal growth with children of all ages.
She provides a safe platform where the students can find and explore their creative courage on the stage of life.”
"I’m glad I was part of these workshops because they helped me to deal with my emotions in a healthier way. I have learned that there are many great things that make me, me. I now know I can do anything if I put my mind to it."
"No matter what interests, focus or passions you have, or the goal you want to achieve, you can easily buy into Emily’s message. I don’t think this is solely due to the success she has achieved, the hurdles she has overcome all the confidence with which she speaks, I think the thing that (And what I admire the most) is her authenticity. Emily is hugely motivational and I would wholeheartedly recommend her services."
Emily is an exceptionally talented entrepreneur.
Emily inspires and supports young people at secondary school with gaining confidence, self-belief and skills to make better choices in attitude, behaviour, aspirations and learning.
Emily’s outstanding training delivery and techniques in engaging her audience leave a lasting impact. The student feedback on the value of Emily’s training has been very high. They leave energised, with increased self-awareness and motivation to achieve.
Her thorough approach to going to great lengths to understand people’s needs, build excellent relationships and deliver an outstanding service is refreshing and admirable.
Emily is a person that ignites the possibility of positive transformation - whether you're a child or adult, she is able to communicate in such a way that anyone can relate and see how their lives can be changed for the better. Her work with children in schools is so vital. With the mental health crisis facing young people, the ability to talk about self doubt and negative mind traps and then to show the young people that it is possible to overcome those hurdles, the things that have been holding them back from reaching their potential or living a happier, more fulfilled one. She recently spoke to a room of 50+ women and captivated them with her honesty, vulnerability - showing us that being authentic, real and open to changing and moving through self doubt is a powerful and life transforming school. She changed every single person in that room. She is relatable, kind, loving, giving and a true trailblazer for positive mindset....and we need that in abundance! We are lucky to have Emily in our region.
